Alumni Scholarship
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the CCHS Alumni Association Scholarship is to recognize and award a graduating senior who has:
Contributed to a positive school environment through academic performance and various forms of extracurricular involvement including activities such as sports, leadership roles, student council, and various other clubs and programs,
Demonstrated a commitment to community involvement and service, and
Exemplified a positive image of Charlotte Catholic High School to the church and community.
To qualify for the award, an application must be completed in full and by May 1, 2008. The recipient must have completed all requirements set forth by the school, and be eligible for graduation. In addition, the student must have been enrolled at Charlotte Catholic High School for at least two school years.
The award of three thousand dollars ($3,000) will be presented at graduation and will be payable immediately to the student’s account at the college, university, or advanced educational institution of his or her choice. The award will not be payable directly to the student.
The selection committee will be comprised of Alumni Association Board of Directors. All information provided by the student will be confidential and limited to the selection committee. Academic information is subject to verification. Additional information provided by the student may be verified as deemed necessary by the selection committee.
