group for CCHS Alumni Singles, if you are interested in
getting together and seeing some old friends or making new
ones, please let us know. If you graduated from CCHS or
attended CCHS, please e-mail Sheila Crites Hillman or

we will let you know when & where we will meet. Please
feel free to make suggestions.
The alumni phone-athon will be held December 5-6 and again
in March/April. Volunteers are needed to call alumni and
solicit donations for the annual fund. Please let us know if
you are able to help!
Join
alumni, faculty, parents & fellow Cougars for a Christmas
celebration with our Charlotte Catholic family at the annual
Christmas
Eve Mass on December 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the CCHS
chapel. This event is sponsored by the CCHS Alumni Asso ciation. Please contact
MJ Dawson in Campus Ministry at
704-542-0386 if you would like to sing or play an instrument
at Mass. This is such a beautiful event and we invite
you and your family to join us!
The
Gin Mill is our favorite spot for alumni events and
reunions, and we’re continuing that tradition with the
Alumni Christmas party
on December 26. Drop off the kids and come on over anytime
after 7:00!

The annual Alumni Basketball Tournament will be held on
Saturday,
 December
26 at CCHS and Holy Trinity. Registration is closed. Click

family and friends and make a day of it. Let the kids see
how Mom and Dad can move on the court! Show your
classmates that you STILL have IT.
Admission is FREE and it's a fun day. Hope to see you

Sports Hall of Fame &
Distinguished Alumni Award |
The 2009 SHOF/DAL induction
ceremony was held on September 25 during halftime of
the varsity football game. The Alumni Association honored
Sports Hall of Fame inductees: The 1992 Boys Varsity Soccer
Team, Coach Ken Hazen and Matt Kerry, '91, as well as our
Distinguished Alumnus, Bill Whittaker, '75. Despite the
rain, we had a packed hour, with alumni, parents, faculty
and friends who came out to the game and celebrated our
inductees at a very soggy halftime!

Homecoming was October 9. Tons of alumni showed up
for the Alumni Tailgating Party before the football game
against East Gaston. Classes 1974, 1989, and 1999 celebrated
their reunions that weekend. It was a great way to kick off
the reunion weekend.
